When you are a staff member at SFPCC, you are part of a close knit team that is committed to excellence in child care and learning. Our salaries are competitive with other Harvard-affiliated child care centers and we contribute to an employee retirement plan. We provide 100% medical and dental coverage, as well as a partial transportation subsidy and life insurance. We also offer other benefits available through Harvard University, such as eligibility to join the Harvard credit union.

We believe strongly in ongoing training for our staff. Our annual in-service day in November has traditionally been a day when we’ve had unique and creative learning exercises for our entire team. We also maintain a separate fund in our budget that provides for appropriate educational opportunities—for example, attendance at relevant conferences– and tuition assistance for our teachers.
